Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli Natiobal Park

Start your day right with an early morning drive to Amboseli National Park! The park is located south of Nairobi, and offers a diverse landscape – dry lake beds, grassland, patches of acacia woodland, and rocky volcanic hills. Plus you can explore the lush landscape around swamps Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai and Enkongo Narok which are bursting with yellow barked acacias and phoenix palms. After a day of exploration check in to your cosy accommodation for dinner before retiring for the night.

  • Dinner and overnight at Lodge or Camp
  • Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: Full Day Amboseli National Park

Greet the new day with spectacular sights of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds roll in. We’ll provide a packed lunch and, after breakfast, there’s even an optional visit to a Masai village for a unique glimpse into their daily lives and rituals. Amboseli National Park is home to some of the most majestic elephants—get close and witness their feeding and bathing habits without disruption from poachers. Start your Safari experience on a high note!

  • Dinner and overnight at Lodge or Camp
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

A sunrise drive to Lake Naivasha is an experience like no other – a gem of the Rif Valley, it sits at 1910m (6200f), with sparkling fresh water and thick clumps of papyrus that make for prime perching spots for kingfishers. If you’re looking to spot some birds, you’ll have over 400 species to choose from! Away from Nairobi, this is a favorite hideaway for city-dwellers on the weekend; be sure to take advantage of the lake’s activities such as sailing, waterskiing or fishing. And don’t worry about any crocodiles – the cold at altitude keeps them away! There are plenty of hippos though – so watch your step! As you take in all this beauty, sip some locally produced wines from vineyards along the lakeshore.

  • Dinner and overnight at Lodge or Camp
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning pick up, then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it’s alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harbouring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingoes, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingoes in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.

  • Dinner and overnight at Lodge or Camp
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

Wake up early in the morningand head to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is known as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators.

  • Dinner and overnight at Lodge or Camp
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, we will head out for a full day game drive, with packed lunch provided. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

  • Dinner and overnight at Lodge or Camp
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
